AFTER HOURS PARTIES RETURN POLICY

After Hours Parties endeavours and intends to honour it’s obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act.

EXCHANGES

Please choose carefully. Due to the intimate nature of the products we sell, exchanges due to change of mind are not accepted. An exception would be made in the instance where After Hours Parties, in error, sent an incorrect product, or if the item was covered under the Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Again, please choose carefully. After Hours Parties does not refund due to change of mind purchases either from online orders, or as a result of backorders from Parties unless a product is unavailable.

FAULTY PRODUCTS

If you feel your product may be faulty and it is still within it’s warranty period, before making contact with us there are a few trouble shooting hints you can utilise in an attempt to resolve the issue:-

Battery Operated Toys

Ensure the batteries you are using are new, the correct size, and inserted correctly.

Rechargeable Toys

In accordance with the manufacturers instructions, before using your rechargeable toy for the first time, it is essential that you give such a full first charge before you turn it on and/or use – regardless of whether it already appears to have charge or not.

Some rechargeable toys have a travel lock mode. Please refer to the manufacturer instructions to establish the process to both lock and unlock this feature.

The on/off feature on many rechargeable products requires the switch to be held down for a three to five seconds to both activate and deactivate the product.

Water Damage

Some products are waterproof, others are not. After Hours Parties will not replace products that are not waterproof and have suffered water damage.

MISUSE, ACCIDENTAL & DELIBERATE DAMAGE

After Hours Parties will not refund or replace products that have damaged due to accident, misuse, or those that have been deliberately damaged.

All toys have limitations. To ensure you get a good life span out of your product(s) take care handling them.

  • Do not bend, drop, squeeze, pull or stretch any product that is not designed for such.
  • Ensure you are using the correct lubricant for your toy. Silicone toys should always be used with a water based lubricant. Silicone lubricants whilst amazing for intimate use may degrade other silicone products. Always wash toy immediately after use.
  • Clean your product in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Products that have been damaged due to inappropriate cleaning methods will not be replaced or refunded.
  • Separate toys during storage. Not all materials are compatible with each other. A separate storage bag for each product is recommended.
  • Menstrual Cups must have the seal released prior to removal. Failure to do so may result in the removal tip becoming damaged. Refer to manufacturer instructions.

CLOTHING SIZING

Choose carefully and please read the manufacturers sizing guide. If you are unsure what size to select please contact us. Lingerie may not be returned due to hygiene reasons, unless After Hours Parties has in error sent you a size other than what you ordered, in which case a courier bag will be sent to you for return of the item and a replacement product sent to you.

TRIED THE TROUBLE SHOOTING HINTS AND PRODUCT IS STILL NOT WORKING?

Please do not hesitate to get in touch for further assistance. Genuinely faulty items that are within warranty period will be replaced. You will need to provide:-

* Proof and date of purchase
* Detailing of the issue
* Your contact details including a contact telephone number

RETURNED PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT FAULTY

If a product is returned as faulty and After Hours Parties deems it to be in working order as it is intended, you will be notified. The item will be held until the sender pays the cost of return freight to After Hours Parties. All items where return freight has not been paid will be destroyed within 31 days.

WHAT BECOMES OF RETURNED PRODUCTS?

All returned products are destroyed. Under no circumstances are returned products EVER on sold.

WARRANTY

After Hours Parties Warranty Policy covers products for 31 days from the date of purchase. Some products have a manufacturer warranty which is usually detailed on the product packaging, which may be longer. In this situation the manufacturer’s warranty applies. If you are unsure what warranty your product has please get in touch.

This warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects. It does NOT cover accidental damage or faults caused misuse, or wear and tear. See above ‘MISUSE, ACCIDENTAL & DELIBERATE DAMAGE’.

If your item is found to be faulty and fits the warranty criteria it will be replaced with an item of the same or similar model. If repair or replacement is not possible, a refund will be issued.

AFTER HOURS PARTY PLAN

After Hours Parties prides itself on assisting valued Hostesses in organising a well planned function that everyone can enjoy. This includes, where possible, being part of social media events related to such. Consultants will be in regular contact with Hostesses in the party lead-up to ensure everything is running to plan.

Party Bookings

A party that is well planned is usually successful in every way. After Hours Parties takes your party booking seriously in every way. We want your party to be a party that will be remembered for a long time to come. You will be assisted in your social media party promotion where possible, and your Consultant will check in regularly to see how your party plans are coming along. Choose your date carefully – and be aware that others will have wanted the very date you have chosen. As parties offer a buy and take home service product will have been ordered in to cater for your party purchasers. If the date you have selected is no longer suitable please contact your Consultant as sooner rather than later to rearrange. Last minute cancellations due to poor planning are both unfair and costly.

Party Cancellations

Life happens and some times a party may need to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances such as sickness and bereavement. Please get in contact with your After Hours Parties Consultant as soon as possible.

No Shows

Should Consultant arrive to the agreed party venue to find no one connected to the party present, and/or no party happening – this is deemed as a No Show. The Hostess will be liable to a $100.00 fee.

Hostess gifts and discounts

These are not transferrable to any other person, or redeemable on other products or cash.

Party Bond

At the discretion of the Consultant a $50.00 fee will apply in instances where sales are less than $400.00. This is the responsibility of the Hostess.

Theft

Any theft of samples or stock is the responsibility of the Hostess.

COLLECTION COSTS

Should it become necessary to refer a debt to a Collection Agency the debtor will be liable for all collection costs associated with such.
